12 Higher Education Trends That Will Be Adopted Over the Next 5 Years

The New Media Consortium just released their 2013 Horizon Project report, and the “short list” includes a list of 12 trends in higher education technology. Some of those listed are trends we’ve been talking about at length on edCetera this past year (flipped classroom, MOOCs, mobile apps, personal tablets, game-based learning), others are new to us (next generation batteries). Here’s a quick summary:
