We’ve posted a few articles lately about open source textbooks and whether or not they will be the silver bullet everyone is looking for as the cost of course materials rises. Kristen Winkler wrote two excellent pieces about how open source is taking over the textbook industry and whether or not DIY (custom) textbooks are a promising solution for students.
